Building a cooking assistant with Firebase AI Logic

Why watch

Marina from Firebase demonstrates building a real-time cooking assistant app called Friendly Meals using Gemini Live API combined with Firebase AI Logic. The tutorial covers implementing bidirectional streaming video, client-side function calling for hands-free actions, and customizing the Live Model behavior for cooking-specific interactions. Android developers looking to integrate Gemini AI into mobile apps will find this practical for learning function calling and real-time AI features.
