Why 72px Stream Deck Panels Beat Wall Displays in Incidents

Why watch

This video explains why wall displays fail in incident response—engineers' peripheral vision scans downward to their desk, not upward to walls—then demonstrates a Grafana plugin for Elgato Stream Deck that displays live stat and gauge panels on 72×72px buttons at desk level where natural peripheral scanning occurs. Targeted at DevOps engineers, SREs, and platform teams building observability tooling who want to improve incident detection through human-centered design.
