This KubeCon session presents case studies from two companies using Cluster API to manage 100+ Kubernetes clusters at fleet scale. One runs multi-tenant clusters with their entire stack on Kubernetes; the other provisions isolated clusters per customer across SaaS, BYOC, and self-managed deployments. Attendees learn a decision framework for when multi-cluster is necessary versus premature, tested patterns for managing hundreds of clusters, and guidance on when to build custom operators versus compose existing solutions.
